LED Light Bulbs

LED Light Bulbs are available in the traditional Warm (Soft) White (2,700 to 3,000K) and Neutral White (4,000 - 4,500K) light colours.

The Color Rendering Index (CRI) of the light produced by the Light-Emitting Diodes of the LED Lamps we sell is above 80. The warmer colors can reach CRI of 90.
The individual LEDs have rated life of 30,000 to 50,000 hours. However, proper thermal management is critical for such long lifespan. We recommend the use of LED Light Bulbs ONLY in open luminaries so the warm air can escape and cool the metal body. The next most important device directly affecting the lifetime of the SSL (Solid State Lighting) products is the electronic inside - the so-called driver. The LED Light Bulbs have built-in internal driver, so an electronic component failure usually means discarding of the whole light engine.

LED Lamp produces very little heat, which eases the load on your air conditioner and additionally saves energy. Unlike the glass structures of conventional incandescent, halogen and CFL lamps, the globes of our LED Light Bulbs are plastic. They can be touched while switched on and do not pose fire hazard. There are no fragile filaments and no poisonous gases inside.

Our LED Bulbs have standard medium screw base so they are direct retrofit to the energy wasting incandescent and halogen lamps. LED Lighting products do not contain mercury gases like the CFL (compact fluorescent lamp). Using LED means that you will not worry about proper disposing of the potentially dangerous CFLs. Another advantage of the Solid State Lighting products over the CFL is operating at low temperatures. Although cold start fluorescents are available, the efficiency will be significantly reduced. In contrast LEDs perform even better in cold environment. The lifetime of the LED Light Bulb does not decrease from frequent switches.

We carry Dimmable LED Lights as well. They are compatible with most dimmers on the market. The dimming range depends on the parameters of the dimmer. Generally effective dimming without flickering would be from 40% to 100% light output.

LED Lighting Technology develops quickly. The design solutions, light colours and lumen output by different manufacturers vary greatly. Some producers and distributors tend to over-represent the quality parameters and efficiency of their products in order to sell them quickly. The data on our LED Light Bulbs is based on the actual measurements of the whole lamp, not on the individual light diodes. Many of our models are UL Classified, which ensures constant quality and characteristics.
