LED Tube Lights are highly efficient lighting products with extremely long lifespan, designed to replace the T8 and T12 fluorescent tubes.
Because of the higher initial price the LED Tubes are most suitable to be used as fluorescent retrofits at:
- Projects where high energy efficiency is of primary importance
- Areas that need low magnetic fields (the LED Light Tubes do not use ballast)
- Displays with goods susceptible to damage from heat and UV rays
- Hard to reach locations where replacing burned fluorescent tubes is difficult
The LED Tube Lighting products do not contain mercury and are eco-friendly.

Monthly Specials For MayLED Tubes do not need starter and ballast (no annoying buzzing sound), which results in even higher energy efficiency and reliability of your lighting fixtures. The light that Tube LED lamps emit contains no ultraviolet rays and does not flicker (no stroboscopic effect). LED lamps have rated life of 30,000 hours and can withstand frequent switches without reduced life span. LED Tube does not contain mercury or any other poisonous gases. This means no disposal fees for businesses and no environmental concerns for the general customer. LED Tube Lights can be used in offices, banks, commercial and industrial applications, as well as at home. The benefits are unsurpassed where the lights are on all the time - underground parking, hallways, factories etc. The long life of Light-Emitting Diodes becomes very important at locations that are hard to reach. It also means lower maintenance costs for replacing burned fluorescent tubes. LED Tube Lighting products can be built with DIP or SMD LED chips. DIP stands for Dual In-line Pin and these diodes have 2 parallel pins used to solder them to the PCB (Printed Circuit Board). The heat generated in the LED is transferred via these pins. SMD (Surface Mounted Diodes) Tubular LED Lamps have square shaped light emitting diodes. They are touching the PCB so the surface for heat transfer is bigger. SMD LED Tubes tend to have higher prices compared to the same kind of DIP LED Tube. Tube LED Lights do not need ballast, but they do need driver to regulate the voltage and current. This driver can be internal or external. The internal driver tubes are compact and easier to connect and operate. On the other hand external drivers can be replaced in case of failure. Since the LED Tubes are designed as replacements for fluorescent T12 and T8 tubes, they have the same standard lengths – 2 and 4 feet. Diameter sizes are often marked with the terminology of the fluorescent tubes – T8, T9, T10. T stands for tubular and the number is the diameter in eighths of an inch. T8 LED 4 feet is the most popular size. Although 3,5, 6,7 and 8 feet LED tubes are available as well, they would be custom manufactured and probably will not have any certification for use in North America, such as UL, ETL or CSA. Our 120V and 277V AC LED Tubes are UL Classified. The LED Tube Lights we sell operate without ballast and starter. Qualified electrician would need to remove or bypass the old ballast if you are retrofitting fluorescent troffers. Wiring instructions can be downloaded for each model from the link on the bottom of its webpage. The most used light colour is Daylight White 5,500K to 6,000 K. We offer Soft White light colour as well. The CCT (Correlated Color Temperature) of the Soft White is 3000K. We have in stock AC 120V and DC 12V LED Tubes. 277V AC are available by special order. |
